Pre Purchase & Pre Activation Checklist

This process shows the information needed before purchasing and activating REALLY's service.

At really.com plan purchase and phone activation are meant to be done all in one so that you can get a new phone service on the same day. As soon as you make your account and purchase a plan you will be taken to the activation setup page.

BEFORE you purchase and activate here is what you will need to know:

  1. Make sure phone is unlocked. Here's how.

  2. Make sure phone is eSIM capable. Here's how.

  3. Make sure to have your transfer information ready if you are bringing over your phone number. Here's how.

  4. Make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi.

Can I purchase now and activate later?

Yes, you can purchase your plan now and activate later. If you choose to do this you will need to log in using the method (email or phone number) you chose during check out when prompted to make an account.

Purchase and Activation works best on a laptop, desktop, or different device than the one you are wanting service on:

Since our eSIM service is downloaded to your phone by scanning a QR code you need to have a second device (laptop, desktop, tablet) to go through the activation process so that you can have your phone available to scan the QR code.

Do not cancel your current service:

Wait until your REALLY activation is complete so you never lose service.

Have your transfer information ready

If you chose to transfer your phone number during the plan purchase process then you will need to get some bits of information from your current provider.

  • Account number

  • Transfer PIN (these can expire so make sure to ask if they do!)

  • Billing zip code
