Can I keep my number?

This article helps people that want to keep their number when transferring their service to REALLY.

Yes, you can bring your current phone number over to REALLY. After you purchase your plan, you will need to go through the activation process. When you initiate activation, you’ll be given the option to bring your number or get a new one. To transfer your current phone number to REALLY, simply select the option ‘Bring My Number’ and follow the steps to bring your number to REALLY while you activate your plan.

ATTN: Do NOT cancel your old service until you transfer your number to REALLY. If you cancel your old service before the transfer is complete, your number will be lost.

Here are a few things you will need from your old carrier:

  1. Your current account number. This can be found on your billing statement or you may have to reach out to your current carrier to get this info

  2. The corresponding PIN or “Number Transfer PIN” associated with your account

  3. The billing ZIP code associated with your account

Note: We walk you through how to find your transfer information in our checkout flow and during the number transfer process.

Note: Most transfers complete in just a few hours, but if any information is submitted incorrectly, your phone number could take up to 48 hours to complete, and landlines can take up to five business days. If you have any questions regarding your transfer, start a chat with us! Once the number has been successfully transferred, we’ll send you a text and email confirmation.

FYI, REALLY does not charge a fee for transferring your number. We pass those savings right back to our customers.


‍Helpful tip: you can dial *PORT on your device to request your transfer details or login to your old carrier's account and search the account number and transfer PIN inside of your dashboard.
